1. When Carlos Tevez played against you and we lost 3-0, how many points would you say he was worth?
2. If Rule 18 of the Premier League states;
No club shall enter into a contract which enables any other party
to that contract to acquire the ability materially to influence its
policies or the performance of its teams in league matches or in any (other) competitions.
And your website reported;
Meanwhile, in the Watford camp, striker Steven Kabba is ineligible to
play in this weekend’s fixture due to a clause in his £500,000 move
from Bramall Lane in January.
What's the difference between this and the Carlos Tevez affair?
3. There have been many vacancies for Premier League managers since you got relegated, yet Neil Warnock has not been associated with any of these, why not?
4. Dean Ashton was ruled out for most of the season by a challenge whilst on England duty. How many points do you think a fit Dean Ashton is worth in a season?
5. Do you think it is healthy in football for players and managers to be suing clubs for issues they have already paid double jeopardy for?
6. Would you sue a referee if he failed to give a penalty against you because you could argue it was worth three points?
7. When Sheffield United lost at home 2-1 to Wigan on the last game of the season, whose fault was that? Who can you sue to get it over-turned?
8. Why are you not suing Liverpool for fielding a weakend team against Fulham?
9. You spent 12 years in Division one/Championship before spending one year in the Premier League, do you consider the Premier League to be your rightful place?
10. Are you aware that you are really boring everyone with your spurious claims and enough is enough?
Meanwhile, many congratulations to Barnsley for beating Neil Warnock's Crystal Palace tonight. This is Palace's 16th defeat of the season and leaves them in mid-place in the Championship....

BRILLIANT....LOVE IT,WHY HAS No 2 NOT BEEN INVESTIGATED?

I hope that Barnsley sue Sheffield United as their Star player Iain Hume has been unable to play since the horrific elbow which led to a fractured skull.
Their lawyers should now claim that he could have won every game if he played & then been promoted to the premier league. . . If Tevez is worth 3 points per game, why isn't Iain Hume ...

I hope that Barnsley sue Sheffield United as their Star player Iain Hume has been unable to play since the horrific elbow which led to a fractured skull by a sheffield united player. Surely this is more of an offence than a clerical error.

What makes me sick is now even Leeds fans are saying they deserve something since that gimp Bates opened his gob. Never heard a word from that lot before. It's just greed from a bunch of useless poncers.

No 2 was investigated, kind of. Apparently because it wasn't in writing the PL said they couldn't take it any further. Griffiths had no such hesitation unfortunately when listening to Shear's version of events regarding the bizarrely named 'oral cuddles'. If Griffiths had deemed proof to be a necessary ingredient in the arbitration process it would have saved West Ham anything from £10-25m (and counting), and saved football from the ridiculous farce it finds itself in.

Shouldn't the title of this article be " Ten straws for deluded West Ham fans to clutch at"?
How many times do you people need telling before it finally sinks in?
YOU cheated. You got off lightly. YOU havn't got a leg to stand on.
Actually, I've got nothing against West Ham. The real villains of the piece seem to have got off scott free with this. I'm talking of course about the Premier League. For it is they that ballsed up monumentaly over this. It should be them who is made to pay compensation if anybody at all.
One last point though. I trust the same amount of vitriolic mudslinging would have been afforded to Wigan or Fulham or Charlton or whoever? Because I know, you know and everyone else in world knows that West Ham would have been in this position no-matter who had taken that last relegation spot.
All the best from a weary Sheffield United / Football fan.

in time 'football' will never forgive sheffield united and its fans for this farce, bringing the game into dis repute.
When will SU and its moron fans realise ... they just wren't good enough & never will be

Nelly stop talking crap and do give the parrot talk a rest. You're fans are becomonig embarassing.
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 12:45
Dave Hall. Thanks for that thought out reasoned reply. You certainly have put me well and truely in my place. I feel so ashamed.
BTW You spelled a couple of thing wrong. Parrot is actualy splelt T R U T H and You're is O U R.
Sorry to pull you on these things but most reasoned people feel that correcting errors like this is quite important.
Chin chin.

Nelly stop whinging about how hard done by you lot are. You're team are where they are because you blew it, regardless of the constant drivel you lot keep going on about. And it's a West Ham site not an English spelling lesson. It amazes me the amount of dullards that invade our West Ham sites. Still, you have to laugh at them I guess, either that or pity them.
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 13:47
P.s. Nelly, if you want to talk about spelling corrections, check your last comment and notice that you couldn't even spell the word spelt, you worded it splelt. You couldn't make it up if you tried, truly funny.
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 13:55
Dave. Yep you got me. Well done. No really. Touche!
It's Pretty ovious that i'm in the wrong place for a reasoned discussion (and by reasoned i mean factual) regarding the nitty gritty of this issue.
I shall bother you good people no more.
Good luck for the future and may football come out the other side of this whole sorid affair with some degree of credibility.
Posted by: Nelly | 18/03/2009 at 14:30
Not touchy Nelly just pointing out the facts. Reasonable discussions don't amount to boring people to death with the 'you are cheats' or you cheated' comments. It's repetitive and boring. On the issue of the credibility of football? This ugly affair that boils down to lining pockets with gold, and has opened up the door for more of this has gave our beloved game a bad name.
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 15:12
Touchy? Is that the Itallian version of Touche or something?
Sorry. Couldn't resist! ;-)
Posted by: Nelly | 18/03/2009 at 15:41
No Nelly, but touche is spelt(that's spelt)with a dash above the e, I thought the way you spelt it was a northern pronounciation of touchy. Sorry I couldn't resist either.Lol
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 16:58
Dash? Is that what they call accents these days?
Damn this ever evolving gramatical terminology!
ps. When you say touchy surely you mean taachy? ;-)
Posted by: Nelly | 18/03/2009 at 17:22
No it's tuuuuuchy.lol
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 17:36

Hey up Nelly seems like too many puddings have clouded your spelling capabilties. Hecky thump.
Posted by: Dave Hall | 18/03/2009 at 20:43
