Just a quick one tonight, as no doubt like you I am watching the rather entertaining United v Milan match, what a game. Anyway, on with the preview...
Well, as everyone knows, the real live game to watch this week is on ITV tomorrow night as the Hammers get a second bite of the FA Cup cherry with their replay against Boro. The game at Upton Park was one of our least inspiring of late, with only a late equaliser by Illunga giving us this replay. Boro were surprisingly strong on the day with Downing and Alves trying to get involved whenver they could.
However, one thing Boro somewhat struggle with is scoring, as their goalless draw with Wigan last Saturday exemplifies. It's not going to take too much to beat them so if we can hit them with one or two goals, we're in with a chance. We just need to make sure we start off with concentration in-tact as we have got into the habit of conceding early goals of late and sturggling to get back in to the groove.
With Collins out for a month but no further injury worries as far as I know, it's at the back where the intersting decision will be made. Neill is back from suspension so we can either put him back at RB and have Tomkins in the middle or keep Spector on the right and have Neill partnering Upson. It's a tough one, I like Tomkins, but I just wonder if a bit more experience is needed for this one. Here's my line up...
Green
Illunga - Upson - Neill - Spector
Collison - Noble - Parker - Behrami
Cole - Di Michele
Bench: Lastuvka, Savio, Tomkins, Boa-Morte, Tristan, Kovac, Lopez
I was a little cheeky for the first meeting thinking we'd sail through, but I reckon if there is a result in the 90, it will be ours, however if we go into ET then we may start to tire. But maybe it will be made for the pace of Savio to come on and get the winner? I will be watching with interest, come on you Irons!!!!!
