According to Sky Sports, West Ham midfielder Scott Parker is off to Man City in the next 48 hours. There is no confirmation of what kind of fee we are looking at but I have heard it could be up to £12 million. On the one had, that is a good fee for the player if it is true, on the other, Scott is an excellent player who was improving as the season wore on and I'm not quite sure who we would replace him with. Additionally, players such as Upson and Green may be moved to asked questions about the break up of the squad, especially as they have specified this is the one thing they don't want.
I've become resigned to losing one key player during the transfer window and had thought it might be Bellers, that it is Parker is slightly more gutting for me but it is what is to come that is more worrying, please let us not break up a squad that was just starting to come together....

key player to lose, but if the fee is around the 12-15 million we will have to accept it, its quite a good offer! but we can not afford to lose any more first team players! im a bit dissapointed we couldnt prize one of man citys midfielders out the deal such as johnson!
