Hammers get Behrami

At last, a proper signing!  The Hammers have got themselves Valon Behrami, the Swiss international from Lazio in a 5 year deal for £5m.  The lad can play right back or across the midfield and indeed it will be interesting to see where Curbs has him pencilled in for.  Lucas Neill certainly didn't make too many friends at Upton Park with his performances, but the wide right position was also chopped and changed with Faubert out for most of the season.  The lad seems quite highly rated and it's a positive move by the Hammers, I look forward to seeing him in our colours.  And a few more of these wouldn't go amiss...

To be fair I think he looks like a pretty decent player
