West Ham have beaten Peterborough 2-0 in a pre-season friendly. After seeing his colleague Dean Ashton score two goals in the States, Craig Bellamy decided it was his turn to get in on the act with a double of his own. Ashton was rested for the match but apart from that, it was a fairly full strength team that was fielded, although the bench was not especially strong;
Green (Stech 70), Neill (capt), Ferdinand (Collison 86), Upson, Behrami (Widdowson 66), Parker, Faubert, Bellamy (Sears 70), Reid (Stanislas 82), Cole, Noble.
Add Dyer, Ljungberg, Ashton and Macca to that squad and it's not so bad. By all accounts the boy Behrami looked lively and Craig Bellamy was unsurprisingly man of the match. Anyway, full report at the official site here
