It seems that things are done on the quiet under Alan Curbishley, but the lack of transfer activity is starting to slightly worry me. We still have to get rid of some (Mullins, Quashie, Boa-Morte) and bring in a left winger, centre mid and a perhaps some cover up front. Ljungberg and Matty can't be relied on to be fully fit for a season and a ball winning/holding midfielder is required to free up Noble and Parker and perhaps even Dyer. Gudjohnsen seems to have gone quiet and there does not appear to be an avalanche of interest in some of our makeweights, unlike at say spurs who are taking up the mantle of Sunderland's feeder club with aplomb. Let's hope there is some activty soon.
In other news, or should I say, news, tonight we are going Posh as we play Peterborough in a friendly at London Road. Good to play a lower league club and get the fitness levels up. I did not see the MLS game but reports appear to be mixed, but at least Deano got a couple, another one for the Fantasy Dream Team that I'm drawing up. Anyway, another 2 1/2 weeks to go and we can stop dreaming and start watching, bring it on!

is that because spurs makeweights are better than west hams?
malbranque would have been a good hammers signing
he stays fit

Am i frustrated by whu? It reminds so much of Leeds Utd i am worried. The AVILLA FANS SHUD BE LOOKING FORWARD they have a crafty but shrewd man at the helm in the transfer market look at his 3 buys. They have progressed we are going backwards. STOKE HULL WILL BE INVESTING WHAT DO WE DO zero
