Bobby Zamora has given us a glimmer of hope with an excellent performance against Birmingham City reserves last night. The lads won 4-1 but the performance was most notable with 3 goals from Bobby Z who we have not seen since September time when he got a knee injury. Julien Faubert also got 90 minutes under his belt and Bobby seems impressed by the team-mate, saying "He put in a few brilliant balls and made my job a lot easier".
With the news that Craig Bellamy is likely to be out for the rest of the season and Dean Ashton finding the build up to his previous form a little slow, the return of Bobby Zamora can provide a real boost for us. He was in great form for us towards the end of last season and let's hope he can find his scoring boots as quickly as possible.
