Poor Spammers, no worthwile trophy in the cabinet since the 1980 FA cup.. since then Spurs have 3 FA cups, a Uefa cup, 2 league cups and while having not one the championship, several strong challenges up until 1992 (when we finished 3rd).

Clubs that are fighting for 'bigger' prizes like the Premiership and the Champions League may argue that the Carling Cup is not that important because they have lost sight of the fact that football is all about moments like yesterday rather than paying shareholder's dividends.
